2007 Women in the Word Conference applications open

October 19-20 – Women of Westminster will sponsor its second annual Women in the Word: A Workshop.  Held on the Glenside, Pennsylvania campus, this weekend program is designed to help develop biblically skillful, theologically discerning women Bible teachers.  Dr. Karen Jobes, a Westminster Ph.D. graduate, will be the plenary speaker. She will focus three large group sessions on teaching and modeling exegesis and hermeneutics. Small study groups, a unique feature of this event, provide a hands-on, collegial setting in which participants present five-minute summaries of an assigned Bible lesson.  Registration for the event includes dinner and lunch.  Enrollment is by application only (June 30 deadline) and is limited.  Click here for the brochure.
