Dr. Beale i Sverige

October 03, 2011

Rev. Dr. Greg Beale, professor of New Testament and Biblical Interpretation, will be teaching in Sweden between October 4th to the 17th.

Dr. Beale will be speaking at Johannelund Theological Seminary at Uppsala, Orebo Theological Seminary, and University of Lund.  He will also be speaking at a conference on "The Use of the Old Testament in the New" sponsored by Theofil in Lund, Sweden.  Theofil is associated with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES).

Theofil wants in this student environment to combine academic studies and biblical faith to a renewal of personal walk with the Lord and equipment for service in God's kingdom.

Theofil works from the conviction that the Bible is an authoritative testimony, and self-attesting authority and reliable part of God's self revelation in history and in Jesus Christ.  Theofil is not connected to a particular church denomination but most of the students are planning to work as pastors in the evangelical Church of Sweden, the former Lutheran state church.
