Earth Day Celebration Westminster, April 23

April 19, 2008

"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it..." Psalm 24:1

Environmental issues are the news all the time. Come hear what God has to say about our responsibility to His creation! Please join us or sign-up up to serve at our first Earth Day Celebration on Wed., April 23, 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Westminster’s suburban Philadelphia campus.

For a listing and schedule of activities taking place in the Machen courtyard click here.

Do you enjoys crafts? Do you have a passion for plants? If so, sign up in a more specific way on the student bulletin board in Van Til hall. See you all on April 23rd!

This is a community event with faculty, staff, and students working side-by-side to put on a festival for the kids in the whole Philadelphia area. So all kids are welcome - from our students, faculty, staff, alumni, neighbors, and neighborhood church members. Enjoy games, face painting, planting demonstrations, craft projects, and much more!

We know that this is a busy time for our students, with finals quickly approaching. It is for that very reason we encourage you to take a break and enjoy this time of fellowship. We are excited about bringing our seminary family together for some relaxing fun as we learn more about God’s beautiful creation and how we can take better care of it.

All Westminster students and staff are encouraged to attend, whether or not you have kids. Just come help out, have fun ministering to the kids in our community and get excited about how you can take better care of God’s creation!
