2014 Missions Conference

Join us for a Week of Chapels, Lunch seminars, and visiting missionaries.

Westminster's missions week will be February 10th through the 14th, and will feature speakers Drs. John Bechtel (pictured), Peter Lillback, David Garner, and more. Various mission organizations will visit campus throughout the week to talk about how they are bringing Christ to our world. The theme of this conference is "Ekklesia Christu Missio Dei (Church of Christ and God’s Mission)"

Join us as we celebrate the work of Christ in the world!


Schedule

Monday, February 10:
Inter-Cultural Dinner: 5:00-6:30pm at the Carriage House: traditional and native foods, traditional song, and a presentation by Andrew Lamb, a missionary with the PCA. Also, Diane Poythress will briefly share her experience on a recent mission trip to Asia.

Tuesday, February 11

  • 10:30-11:00 Chapel message in Rust Auditorium by Dr. Peter Lillback
  • 1:00-2:20 Lunch seminar in the Carriage House with Dr. Lillback and Mr. Samuel Folta, OPC missionary in Asia

Wednesday, February 12

  • 10:30-11:30 Chapel message in Rust Auditorium by Dr. John Bechtel, retired missionary for Christian and Missionary Alliance. Dr. bechtel received an honorary doctorate from Westminster in 2007.
  • 11:30-12:10 Various missionary organizations will be available in Rust Auditorium to speak about the work they are doing throughout the world.
  • 1:00-2:00 Lunch seminar with Dr. Bechtel in the Carriage House.

Thursday, February 13

  • 10:30-11:00 Chapel message in Rust Auditorium by Rev. Dr. David Garner
  • 1:00-2:20 Lunch seminar with Dr. David Garner and Wayne and Maggie Ferris

Friday, February 14
Rev. Dr. Vern Poythress will be speaking at a lunch seminar starting at 1:00 in the Carriage House. Also speaking will be Mr. Keith Williams, missionary for WEC International.
