From the Conference Brochure:

Christians often struggle witnessing and defending the faith. This encompasses apologetics, the specialty of Dr. Oliphint. He will begin with a look at the Protestant view of God’s revelation and its implications for Christian living and for a defense of the Christian faith. In order to properly communicate who God is, we have to recognize who God is and the centrality and importance of how God identifies Himself. Dr. Oliphint will then examine the non Christian. What does he understand about God and how does he understand it? What in God’s revelation can help us in our communication of God and his gospel to and in the world?

The goal of the B.B. Warfield Lecture Series is

  1. Promote the exchange and examination of the great historic doctrines of the Church.
  2. Foster a corporate sense of the relevance of the Christian faith and Reformed theology to our culture.
  3. Challenge the individual believer to connect with the historic Christian faith and the Church.
