Imagination and Christian Communication
March 09, 2015
Gene Edward Veith, former Culture Editor of World Magazine, professor of literature, regular contributor to Tabletalk, and prolific author on issues of Christianity and culture, will be joining us on campus via live web conference this week.
Dr. Veith has recently coauthored Imagination Redeemed: Glorifying God With a Neglected Part of Your Mind (Crossway, 2014). The imagination is a powerful faculty of the human mind that shapes everyday life, not just the realms of literature and the arts. How does the imagination impact Christian thinking, and how should this affect Christian writing, preaching, and other forms of communication and ministry? These are the kinds of questions Dr. Veith will address in an engaging talk relating Christian theology, Christian imagination, and Christian communication.
Join us Tuesday, March 10, at 1:00 pm in Van Til Room 2, for this presentation. Lunch will be provided.
