Beeke Visits Westminster

Dr. Joel Beeke (PhD, '88), President and Professor of Systematic Theology and Homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, will be visiting Westminster on Monday and Tuesday, April 27-28.

On Monday evening, Dr. Beeke will address an audience of PhD and ThM students at a PhD/ThM Roundtable dinner, speaking about the Puritans and preaching, as well as about writing and publishing in the life of a scholarly ministry. On Tuesday morning at 10:30am in Van Til Hall, Dr. Beeke will speak in chapel on “How to Endure” from Heb. 12:1-2. All are welcome to attend chapel.

Dr. Joel Beeke is president and Professor of Systematic Theology and Homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, a pastor of the Heritage Netherlands Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, editor of Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth, editorial director of Reformation Heritage Books, president of Inheritance Publishers, and vice-president of the Dutch Reformed Translation Society. He has written, co-authored, or edited seventy books including A Puritan Theology: Doctrine for Life, Living Zealously, Friends and Lovers: Cultivating Companionship and Intimacy in Marriage, Getting Back Into the Race: The Cure for Backsliding, Parenting by God’s Promises: How to Raise Children in the Covenant of Grace, Meet the Puritans, Contagious Christian Living, Calvin for Today, Developing a Healthy Prayer Lifeand Taking Hold of God. His PhD is in Reformation and Post-Reformation theology from Westminster.
