The Loft Grand Opening

Yesterday, the WTS community welcomed the grand opening of The Loft -- our new student lounge. This became a reality through the support of the administration and the Student Association, the volunteer assistance of many students and staff, and in particular, the work of the Physical Plant and Building Services Departments (thanks Bob, Phil and Nate)!
 
In recent years, the student lounge and the WTS Cafe had to be relocated or modified for various reasons -- such as the need to move the bookstore to the first floor of the carriage house rather than let gravity do its work! The Loft has brought together many elements of the previous Student's Center -- tables and chairs, sofas, a kid's corner, and a new foosball table and ping-pong table.
 
It my desire that The Loft would be a place where gospel-conversations and interactions move from the classroom and the realm of theory to our everyday lives as our community grows in a deeper knowledge of the grace of Jesus Christ.
