The Craig Center Hosts Dr. GribbenMarch 09, 2010The Craig Center is hosting Dr. Crawford Gribben (pictured) today in the Craig Room. The topic will be “Angels and Demons in Cromwellian Ireland: Heresy and the Supernatural.” About Dr. Gribben: Before taking up his current position as Long Room Hub Senior Lecturer in Early Modern Print Culture, Dr. Gribben taught in English and American Studies at the University of Manchester, and was a visiting lecturer at the University of Lausanne and a visiting scholar at Westminster College, Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society (2004) and director of the Millennialism project in the Centre for Irish-Scottish and Comparative Studies. The Craig Center for the Study of the Westminster Standards at Westminster Theological Seminary was established in 2002 to promote historical, systematic, biblical and practical reflection upon the tradition of Reformed theology for which the Seminary stands.
