Sally Cummings with the Lord

Sally Cummings, former administrative assistant to the president and faculty assistant, died on July 26th.  She was 76.

"Sally had a great deal of energy. She was kind and friendly and very loyal to WTS. She often sent encouraging messages to members of our community. For me it was always great fun to just step into her office and chat about life. She enjoyed talking about sports (she was quite an equestrian and a fly-fisher), politics (an avid Republican), and was very fond of charities such as Joni and Friends. I’m not sure which virtue besides faith in Christ was chief in her, near the top were certainly human kindness, loyalty, friendship, and a willingness to learn ... Barb and I shall miss her a great deal."

The memorial service will be held at Calvary Presbyterian Church at 405 North Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA [Map]. The service will start at 7:00 PM on August 6th, 2010. Friends are urged to arrive at the church by 6:30 PM.
