Powlison Joins Gospel Coalition Council

Dr. David Powlison, adjunct professor of Practical Theology has been added as a council member of the Gospel Coalition.

Dr. Powlison is a faculty member of The Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF), and has been counseling for more than 30 years. Some of his books include Speaking the Truth in Love, Seeing with New Eyes, and The Biblical Counseling Movement: History and Context. He has written numerous articles on biblical counseling and on the relationship between faith and psychology, and has taught across the United States and in Korea, India, Brazil, Europe, and Sri Lanka.

The Gospel Coalition is a fellowship of evangelical churches that seeks to support "robustly biblical, theologically driven, gospel-centered ministry for God’s glory and people’s temporal and eternal good."

Other Council members to the Gospel Coalition include: Board members Dr. Philip Ryken and Dr. Harry Reeder; Honoarary Doctorate recipient, Rev. Alistair Begg; and alumnus Dr. Timothy Keller.
