Leaving a bequest in your will to Westminster Theological Seminary is one way to have a lasting impact on the ministry of our school.  We are thankful for the bequests we have already recieved throughout the years. If you are interesed in naming Westminster Theological Seminary in your will there are several ways this can be done. Your advisor can assist in this process but here are a few examples.

In a bequest:

  • You can give a specific sum you want to go to the seminary
Ex. "I bequeath the amount of $20,000 to Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, PA.'
  • You can give a percent of the estate
Ex. "I bequeath 30% of the remainder of my estate to Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, PA."
  • You can establish a contingent bequest.
Ex. If my relative, Jane Doe does not survive me, then the remainder of my estate will go to Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, PA."

Benefits of your bequest:

  • Leave a lasting legacy through your gift.
  • Reduce the tax burden from your family as a bequest to Westminster Theological Seminary is considered a charitable deduction.
